Attic Orators

3 hours. Repeatable for maximum 6 hours credit.

Orations drawn from the works of Demosthenes, Lysias, and Aeschines, with emphasis on the function and techniques of persuasion in oratory and on the political and social contexts of these orations.

Prerequisites:
GREK 2002 or permission of department
