Please write an essay (approximately 500 words) on your reasons for studying Classics.
Under the provisions of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, you may decide whether letters of reference written at your request are to be held confidential or whether they are to be available for your personal inspection. Check one of the following statements and place your signature in the space provided so that the referee will be advised of your choice. Please have your referees complete the Warlick-Mannion reference form (see link above), or submit a letter to GRADINQ@UGA.EDU.
If I am awarded the Warlick-Mannion Scholarship, I agree to enroll in at least two Latin and/or Greek language courses in the Department of Classics at the University of Georgia during the academic year and to meet for advising each semester with the Department's Undergraduate Coordinator. I understand that the scholarship is for one year only and is renewable only upon successful re-application before the annual February 1 deadline.
If I am selected as a winner, I would like the following notified and invited to the Classics Honors Banquet.
